Every image on this website is a reflection of my passion for photography and people. As a professional photographer, for more than 32 years, I have had many experiences with subjects from all walks of life.
My commitment and passion for photography is inherent and I live by my credo “you are only as good as your last photograph.” I bring that same commitment and passion to Japanese Inspired Rope Bondage.

INTENSITY, Men in Rope
is a compilation of 18 men tied and photographed by David Lawrence in his style of Japanese inspired rope bondage. The imagery of these men and this genre is raw, visceral and artistic. There are 216 pages of images in this beautifully bound hard cover coffee table book.
The book is being dedicated to David’s brother Ben, who died from AIDS at 40 years old in 1999 and was his inspiration for this project. David is donating 20% of the Gross Sales to three HIV/AIDS Non Profit Organizations that provide services to enhance the quality of life for people struggling with this disease.

is the result of more than 5 years of my work with women in rope. My passion for photography and Japanese Inspired Rope Bondage is eveident on each and every page. I know you will enjoy it as much as I did creating it.
